About me
A former graduate of Concordia University in Mequon, WI, Kevin Roberts uses his background in Communications in several positions. In addition to work in social media, marketing, and copywriting, Roberts focuses the majority of his attention on fantasy football, in an effort to guide fantasy owners to yearly league championships.
Roberts began writing for Bleacher Report and quickly became one of the top writers, rising to Featured Columnist status, while publishing over 1,000 articles and residing in the top 25 of the site in reads for several months prior to the 2011 summer. Before and during his stay at Bleacher Report, Roberts also had his work featured on FoxSports.com, CBSSports.com, AskMen.com, GridironExperts.com, SportsGrumblings.com, and several other respected sports websites.
After 2011, Roberts headed NFLSoup.com full-time, where he leads the site’s fantasy football advice section, while also over-seeing breaking news and NFL Draft scouting and coverage. In fact, Roberts tied for 27th out of 106 participants in The Huddle Report’s annual Mock Draft Scoring contest. Roberts’s 27th ranking was better than draft guru Mike Mayock of NFL.com, and was only one point behind ESPN Draft Expert, Mel Kiper Jr.
While hitting new heights in the NFL Draft department in 2012, Roberts has found most of his success in the fantasy football advice field. While competing in the FantasyPros.com Most Accurate Expert contest in 2010, Roberts dropped in as the 20th overall expert out of 39 contestants, while finishing 1% out of the top five. In that same year, Roberts came in second place in the wide receiver position, falling to John Paulseon by .2%.
Roberts dropped in the overall rankings due to a much more competitive field in 2011, but had more success in individual positions, as he ranked as the 3rd most accurate in the quarterback position for the year.
Currently, Roberts continues to work hard to improve NFLSoup.com, while trying to give fantasy owners one of the most personable fantasy experiences with free weekly live chat sessions, radio shows, and the most personalized weekly fantasy advice content on the web.
